On February 6th and 7th firefighters from across New York State descended upon Cortland County, specifically Greek Peak Ski Resort and SUNY Cortland to participate in the 2010 FASNY Winter Firefighter games. The events, made up of five person teams, included

1. 5 Person Tube Race - An event where 5 tubes are connected together and race as one!

2. Hose Relay -A timed event where a team must run the water appliance to the finish line while the other team members race and couple the hose along the course until connecting the hose to the appliance. The Manlius Fire Department team took third in this event.

3. Tug of War

4. Broomball - A game similar to hockey done on ice in regular turnout boots, rubber ball, and broom like sticks.
